There are at least two tiers of Chinese electronics products sold on Amazon. There are the "alphabet soup" companies whose names are almost random combinations of letters that make no sense and there are a few "real" companies like Anker. Products from the former group might be good or bad, but we're not surprised when they're bad. But I've learned that Anker makes quality products that last. This charger and cord charge my phone faster than other chargers I've had, does it consistently and has never gotten hot. I'll continue to buy Anker.
