This power bank arrived in a colourful cardboard box and wrapped to keep it protected. It's a really compact unit, so ideal for travelling, and was supplied with some charge (about 28%).I connected my phone and it readily charged it without any issues. It has a wrist lanyard and a retractable cable, which was a really useful length, making it very practical.I love the small, but easy to read, display which shows you at a glance how much charge is left and the temperature of the unit. It also shows percentage of charge when plugged in for recharge.Overall this is a very solid looking, compact and stylish power bank that's ideal for a handbag/travel. At £39.99, at time of review, I think it's great value for money and would happily recommend it.
Anker is a name you can trust and I honestly haven't had any issues with any products I've had from them. They are reliable and well built and this battery pack is no different. What amazed me was the size of it, it's not nano sized as in tiny but compared to equivalent capacity battery packs, it is small. It is weighty but not too heavy and is working exactly as expected with no issues. This battery pack should last a good while I have no doubts.Highly recommended from me!
Measuring, 81 × 50 × 36 mm the tiny Anker Nano 45w charger feels dense in your pocket. I’m not entirely sure why; but the charger is equipped with a USB-A socket as well as a USB-C socket. It also hides in its diminutive size an 80 cm long USB-C charging cable; with a good pull and retract system. When in use you can press a button on the size to see the drain on the battery for each socket; and see the charge time when you are powering it back up. It also has built in health and temperature guidance meters to help you get the most out of it. The screen is colour, and you wouldn’t know it was there until you press the button to check. It happily charged my phone at a range of 27-22 watts depending on the state of battery in my phone. It adds 50 percent to the battery in about 34 minutes. This is on the line for the phones charging curve. The charger was able to recharge my phone twice over the last few days and still has 4% of its battery life left. Charging it back up it took about 2 hours to charge back up (drawing 30w from a 100w charger); so, its quick to be ready to go out with you. When full I found it would charge my tablet at an indicated 43w which keeps it going during a gaming session. The small size, that its tidy with its built-in cable and that it can rapidly charge a device on the go with the built in cable and make this a very attractive charger from a brand you can trust.
This power bank is one of the best I’ve seen at this price point and capacity and the built in display shows lots of great information such as remaining battery and battery health and battery temperature. Also the built in cable is very useful and is great for keeping all my things charged up on the go.
I can't say enough good things about this small powerbank - I'm really impressed. It's one of those things where the look and feel match the performance.Firstly, for a genuine 10000mAh powerbank this thing is very compact, certainly smaller than I thought it would be.Secondly, it feels weighty and robust - sort of dense like any quality item should.Thirdy, it looks good - not just the item but the display is a cut above anything like this that I've had before. This powerbank has a retractable cable that feels very smooth and it feels quality. I've had retractable cables before, cheap ones, and you can tell the mechanism may only last so long - these doesn't feel like that. It feels very smooth (I imagine there must be a lot of pawls on the mechanism) and it retracts nicely and fully. The USB cable sits neatly flush with the rest of the powerbank. The USB-C cable can be sued to charge the powerbank or charge other devices. The screen deserves a special mention: It shows which ports are in use, the direction of charge(in/out), the charing speed on each port, the temperature of the powerbank, how long until it's fully charged and the battery health and number of cycles....and it looks great. I've never had a powerbank that tells me so much and all of it useful info.In summary: It is obvious a lot of design has gone into this powerbank to not only create a quality battery with a nice display but also to cram a super-useful cable into it. It is instantly the one I grab when needing one and I highly recommend.
